Morning Yawl,

it was a fun filled day yesterday, pulled engine and transmission out as one. had to put the engine hoist on my trailer since its all dirt around the shed. Then pull them out, forgot to unhook the transmission shift cable.. found out when i was moving the entire carcass. The combo is in the shed now.. All while working with my assistant helping.. Gotta luv dawgs.. And the new phrase of the weekend "Appalachian Engineering"

Yeah lift first ... and maybe a little heavier spring up front to support that added weight of winch/bumper in the future.

Lift first, but only if you get new tires also. A lift is useless if you don't put bigger tires on.
Then sliders.

I after you couldn't come to the swap meet, I asked when I could either come get it, or meet you halfway for it. I won't argue, just saying, I did make an effort.

Was think of using those little floor vents that open and close to make hood vents. Or have a summer hood and winter hood. Not quite sure yet. I don't always need vents. Exspecially on really cold mornings. It will idle at 200 with the heat on which is perfect.

Ok....question for everyone.

Going to get myself a tool set on Black Friday as a gift to myself.

http://bfads.net/Lowes-Black-Friday-...et-w-Case-2012

http://bfads.net/Sears-Black-Friday-...age-Chest-2012

http://bfads.net/Ace-Hardware-Black-...anics-Tool-Set

Those are my choices.

Can anyone give me a reason not to get the Kobalt tool set from Lowes? Best value for the size of the set, and have a lifetime warranty.....

Thoughts?
