Those are my choices.

Can anyone give me a reason not to get the Kobalt tool set from Lowes? Best value for the size of the set, and have a lifetime warranty.....

Thoughts?
I like Kobalt. I can't come up with any reason not to

I've got some 1/2" Kobalt sockets and haven't had a single issue with them. Better than my Craftsman ratchet

You're seriously gonna swap your hood in the morning before work if it's cold outside?
As for the floor vents, it's been done on CF and JF, but even I think it looks terrible.

Thats semi- retarded. If you truck stays at the right temp during fall/winter and over heats during the summer... you need to fix your cooling system.

Swapping hoods sounds like a HUGE bandaid.

I like craftsman. I can afford stanley. Also has a lifetime warranty. But, they have to mail it to you. I like that you can go to sears and get an immediate swap.

I will keep saying this until I am blue in the face. Hood vents DO NOTHING to keep your ENGINE OPERATING TEMP down....they only alleviate underhood temps. The advantages are that rubber and plastic parts will last longer, heat soak is helped, and the air under the hood will be a LITTLE cooler in the intake.

NOTHING ELSE....it is the wrong thing to do to fix an issue you see on your temperature GAUGE.

/end rant

Did some research. Kobalt used to be made by JH Williams (Snap On was too) but are now made by Danahar, which is the same company as makes Craftsman, and the warranty is the same.

So...when choosing between Craftsman and Kobalt...they are the same thing.

So....gonna go with the Kobalt.
