Your supposed too.
When it comes time to change mine out, an access door in the floorpan will be going in. Fuel pumps always go out on me after I've filled the tank

No extra welders. Keep an eye on the pawn shops, you can get a nice Lincoln setup for a couple hundred.
Yes I can teach you how to weld... better to learn on scraps before you try it on your jeep....thin guage is a PITA

Besides Countrythang, anyone else running without the front sway bar? I want to be disconnected for RC but looks like I won't get the disconnects until after. I'm thinking about running without it for the trip. any thoughts?

unless you have really stiff front coils I wouldn't. It'll feel very washy at highway speeds and on off ramps.

And hey - I'm gonna try to get them done this weekend lol

understandable. whats the best set up when it comes to a welder. and could you (not in anyway saying you weld like ****) but post up a pic, or link to PB or something that you can see your welds? i had a friend say he definitely could weld... but then the exhaust pipe was covered in boogers at the joint...

i run without a front sway bar, but i drive like an old lady. speed limit, insane following distance, as soon as i get new links though, they are getting connected. very dangerous to drive without them in the front. back, doesnt matter.

Keep in mind, this was done with a gasless buzzbox with .035 wire. Jeff (tattookid) was there the day I pulled his buddies jeep out of a hole and dragged it for about 200yds on these welds

Get a Miller or Lincoln MIG with gas hookup, can do so much more and get flatter, prettier welds. I actually used a HF buzzbox to build this bumper to make a point. It's not the actual welding machine, it's the welder that gets the end results
