while we are on the paint topic...how well does duplicolor in cans in actual colors (meaning not just black) work? i mean if you clear it with spray will it look decent? its pretty cheap and i need to do something about my hood.

Thanks
I thought that he needed more than 2 coats, but when I mentioned another coat or two he was saying "the stuff is no good" . It's to cold now to get it done,so I'll table it.

Trying to decide if I want to buy a winch today or not. Other than that I didn't really see any I couldn't live without.

Anyone see any reason not to weld the light brackets to a bumper as a theft deterrent? I'm having a hard time justifying $30 for PIAA light locks.

I know this isn't the tech section but I have read a lot of wisdom and experience from this group.
I am trying to figure out how to inexpensively fix my rear leaf issue. I want to lift but just don't have the funds to lift to the height or quality I want. Also have no funds right now to move from my 235/75 tires to 32 or 33s after the lift.
Problem is my rear springs are frowning down. Over the holiday the family had a road trip and the truck was really very very low in the *** end.
I have heard the non-positive replies about AALs but need to find something as a very cheap patch that will mesh with my stock front suspension.
I was really trying to not replace without upgrading but I am fearful of riding this bogged down for too long. I expect the car will look the same if not worse when we head home for Christmas. Put new sensatrac shocks on about 2 1/2 months ago but that isn't keeping me anywhere near level.
Any thoughts on the cheapest direction?
Sorry for the long read [and the wrong forum].
