Loved it, knowledge is always worth the investment. The way Wyotech works you cant really have a job and study. The best advice I can give you is tour campuses and see the program/talk to students there.
Wyotech had the best facilities/class size/program that I could find out of LTI, UTI, the local Community college.. That being said, it is very different from those schools as well. You are at the school 8 hours a day 5 days a week. The core classes are 6 months and the add ons are 3 months. You take a core class of study such as Collision/Refinishing or Light Duty Diesel or Automotive
and you are able to add one elective course for the standard tuition. You can always add more for added cost.
Add ons are High Performance Engines and drivetrain, Chassis fab, Upholstery, Street rod/fabrication
There are dorms that you can stay in and the cost of the rent for a dorm can be added to your loan so you dont have anything out of pocket while you are in school. When it was all said and done, for my core and one elective, my food and room and board and I took out some extra for tools I ended up taking out just over 50K

Possible option: Join the Air Force for a 2- 6 year contract and pick a job that you can use on the outside.
Medical Equipment Repair
Operations Intelligence Specialist
Network Intel Analyst
Cryptologic Linguist
When you get out you can easily get a job plus you can use your GI Bill for college degree and you get 36 months of Basic Housing Allowance $1721 (Univ of MD rate) a month as long as your in school full time.

No military for me. Thats not what i want to do. I dont like school at all so i was think about finishing my AA degree and going to trade school for like hvac or something. My boss now is my gfs dad and even though her and i basically broke up and got back together he said no matter what happens i still have a job. He wants me to go to a trade school and work with him. The guy thats his right hand man thats training me to do what he does makes 80k+ in salary plus 3 weeks vacation. And he has no education besides HS. Im seriously considering this.
Seriously tho, look into it, joining the Air Force. School will be paid for, and you'll essentially be paid for going to school.

well my schooling is kinda paid for by my grandfather. im the only one in my family with any schooling past high school. my sister went to ccbc for half a semester and stopped, my brother never gave a **** about school, my younger sister is doing terrible in school, and my parents never went college either. no matter what i do im going to be better off and accomplished in my own mind. i thought about joining the military, but between tim, and jake, and ben, and brian, i dont see the real benefit. idk what ben does, but out of what i know brian is the only one with a career he can be happy in every day. im not hating on anyone at all, im just saying that tim works 12 hour shifts five, six, seven, ten times in a row. thats not what i want.
