In other news, it looks like the day to lift will likely be Wednesday, Feb 1. Anyone available for that on Ft Detrick in Frederick? I'd like to start as early as possible so we have time for complications. I'm looking at front and rear springs, four shocks, sway bar links, brake line relocation, bumpstops, and maybe a tie rod.

speaking of strapping stuff to the top of a vehicles roof... when i was in afghani land (i was infantry doing route clearance... sense? makes none) in a buffalo MPCV (link: http://www.forceprotection.net/products/buffalo/). well, my staff sergeant made me strap 20 something jerry cans to the roof... covering the 6 escape hatches on the roof... including all the extra ammo (5.56, 7.62, 40mm for the mk19 and 203's, AT4) that couldnt fit on the other trucks... now the purpose of this vehicle is simple. mine detectors find **** in the ground, buffalo digs it up most of the time, its an explosive. and 3 out of 5 times, when you are ****ing with it, it explodes... thank god we didnt hit anything on that 600 mile trip... i think my butthole is still puckered up from that tour lol

3" coils up front, 3.5" RE springs in back with JK Rubi shocks and maybe a V8 ZJ tie rod.
I can do it that day if people can help. I can try to move it a day in either direction if it'll make a big difference for participation.

No dice lol. I don't know what days I'll be home/working until the 30th, and I start leave on the 2nd. Like I said before, I'll sacrifice a day of leave and do the lift on Feb 2 if I need to. Don't know yet if I can move it back at all.

I consolidated my posts:

It looks like the day to lift will likely be Wednesday, Feb 1 on Ft Detrick in Frederick. The auto shop will be open 9-7. I'd like to start as early as possible so we have time to work around complications.

I'm out of the area until around the end of the month. I won't know what days I'll be home/working until the 30th, and I start leave on the 2nd. Like I said before, I'll sacrifice a day of leave and do the lift on Feb 2 if I need to. I don't know yet if I can move the date back at all.

yea I probably won't we able to make it on a weekday. I'll PM you a list of things you'll need, an order in which to do them, and a procedure I recommend for each thing. Installing Brian's lift last weekend helped develop some tricks to make things go smoother that I'll pass along.
