I sold my 78 Malibu last year to buy the Harley but it had a stout motor that came with it when I bought it. Car cost me 7500 and the motor had the following build. I sold the car but the motor is in my garage now waiting for another car to put it in. I'll sell it for 5800. It's got 2 years of quarter mile passes on it and has a little bit of blowby but I'm assuming the buyer would rebuild it sooner or later.

If I were do do a GAS engine swap into my Jeep it would be a GM Series II 3800...or just pull the trigger on a naturally aspirated Mopar 360.

I can't wait to see that! Meet and greet at tour place!

I've been thinking about buying a car for my gf and I to play with at capital this year. The plan is to find a chassis and build a 415cid with a goal of 585hp/585tq. I was going to trade the motor I have now for a Dart SHP iron block, a Scat 4340 crank and Scat 4340 rods to get me started. Bore of 4.125 Stroke of 3.875.

I was looking at JE pro series flat top forged aluminum pistons and a set of AFR "competition" heads for a final compression ratio of 10.6:1. Ill have to pick a car and tranny before I call Comp Cams to figure out a custom grind so in the meantime I search eBay for clean Malibu's
