I've been thinking about buying a car for my gf and I to play with at capital this year. The plan is to find a chassis and build a 415cid with a goal of 585hp/585tq. I was going to trade the motor I have now for a Dart SHP iron block, a Scat 4340 crank and Scat 4340 rods to get me started. Bore of 4.125 Stroke of 3.875.

I was looking at JE pro series flat top forged aluminum pistons and a set of AFR "competition" heads for a final compression ratio of 10.6:1.
my entire rotating assembly is 4340, Scat crank and eagle rods, slight dish pistons with valve reliefs, 11.5:1, edelbrock proformer heads, 2.02 intakes, 1.95 exhausts, 64cc chambers. hydraulic roller, weiand dual plane, Holley 750

started out life as a 351W, increased the bore to 4.040 and lengthened the stroke to 4" its around 418ci with the punch but advertised as a 408 block

You are going to be a bad influence! I see myself selling the Harley soon! I'm already looking at buying a tow vehicle, was Internet shopping for a F150/F250 today.

Tried to get a price on a Grand Wagoneer that's been sitting at Market St and 7th in Frederick, but the guy said it's a customer's who got it for free and is trying to get it running.

indeed. though when (and if sadly) if I ever get my 02 SS I'm just going to keep it at what it is at. just do a Heads/Cams, full exhaust, and other random engine stuff. if I ever go forced induction I'm honestly probably going to do a turbo, because superchargers just don't fit well with the cowl of that car, and the prochargers, well I'm just not a fan of them.
