people are stupid. this is just going to make crime wayyy worse. I can't believe how stupid people are about this. if the guy who did this last shooting would have used a pen for all of it, would we ban pens? no. that's what pisses me off.
Precisely. All 11 mass shootings in the US this year have been hate crimes, started as crimes of passion, or have been committed in a school or "public gathering place" where concealed carry isn't allowed in many states. Ban guns, and a knife or bomb is equally effective and even easier to use.

Oh, and most of the guns used were stolen by people who were too young to buy them or mentally unstable. How about mandatory gun safety training with purchase? I wouldn't mind that, and I'm pretty anti-control.

yup, look at the states that have concealed carry. No one in WV or TX(I think you can open carry in TX) is trying anything like that, that I'm aware of.
I think education is key. However, the ones doing this type of thing aren't your responsible gun owner in the first place and I doubt they contribute much to society.

x2, would not mind at all to see a mandatory gun safety, even though I laugh my *** off almost every time I go to the range and there is some idiot looking down the barrel of their handgun to check and make sure its unloaded.

those AE rounds for their Desert Eagle jam so frequently

I've been seeing the guns I'm considering already going into backorder status.......**** is ridiculous!

Getting an Ak74 by Waffen Werks before time runs out. And dont forget about ammo and mags,..... Those two things will be hard to come by and cost twice as much if these pin heads continue talking from their collective asses.

Guns had nothing to do with the mass shooting....they were only the tool chosen.

This is much more about deeper issues. Healthcare, mental health and recognizing warning signs.

The gun is not at fault itself.

I DO, however, believe in limiting magazine sizes for civilian use...but that is just my opinion...and I am familiar with both sides of the argument.

Read a article that 2mil background checks were done in November trying to indicate that gun sales set another record.

I'm not sure whats worse the media creating mass hysteria about gun control or the people buying 5 ar's and 10k rounds of ammo.

pretty sure you can only buy one firearm per 30 days, well anything that is regulated that is...

I blame the prepper shows also, people starting seed banks and buying all this **** they don't know how to use. The one episode I watched the dude was showing his boys the ins and outs of gun safety and shot his ****ing thumb off with his revolver... luckily the film crew had someone with first responder training and stabilized him long enough for the medivac to land...

In va with a concealed carry permit you can buy handguns and rifles at will. Without its 1 handgun or i think 1 detachable magazine rifle every 30 days.

Totally agree with you about those prepper shows.

I also think that if you do not show some sort of basic understanding of the weapon you are looking to buy the firearm seller should give you the basics. Saw these two kids *prolly 19 or 20* looking "whoah check out these tactical shottys" at the gun show and I asked them what makes a Browning Citori tactical. I was told by them that is has a tactical stock therefore it was a tac shotgun. So I pointed out to them that the tactical stock was peeling off of the wooden stock which at that point the seller comes over and glares at me and told the boys that the browning was the perfect tactical home defense weapon and was onsale used for $1600

I laughed and walked on as the kid whips out a stack of 20s and started counting

And I won't feel bad when he cries cause he accidentally shot his friend.
