Dont you hate those dang new ones! I went to the craft store and got lil craft trays for my sons, they hold any where from 9-25 and they snap shut, and stackable.

I myself have 1,000's upon 1,000's of Hot Wheels, but 99% of mine are still in package, covered with a protecto-pak.
Oh, and just sent an email to Mattel asking WTF, but politely

Been looking for a while. It's ridiculous. Bought one today for my daughter. Loaded it up with Hot Wheels all proper, closed it, reopened it, and they all came spilling out.
And I am not trying to pay $100+ for used, "vintage" ones.
I myself have 1,000's upon 1,000's of Hot Wheels, but 99% of mine are still in package, covered with a protecto-pak.

Weird, but just found that they are still sold new in the UK for cheap enough

I feel your pain.. I use a mix of protecto-paks and www.hotcases.com/ for mine. it's an addiction for sure.
