Did you use the Hella housings or the Autopals for those bulbs? If Hella, did you have to grind off the mounting tabs on them to get them to fit into the XJ buckets? I think I may have ordered the wrong ones. They are the 200 mm but they have the annoying mounting pads at the outside top corners that ***** things up when you go to mount them up. (I know, I said mount...) Nothing a Dremel can't solve but I'd prefer to have plug-n-play.

I bought the hella housings. Specifically:

Product Name: H6054 200mm Rectangular E-code Hi-Lo Conversion Headlamp Kit. Attributes (if any): Choose H4 Bulbs - H6054B - 100/55W Hella Halogen

They dropped right in. Hardest part was running the harness.

You know whats a bad idea. Watching 2012 Mint 400 highlights and then trying to drive like they do in the jeep speed trucks.

Yep, I got the wrong SKU. Awesome failure to pay attention on my part. I looked at the ones you got on Susquehanna just now. Kinda makes me feel better that they are asking for $100+ for a harness like I make.

someone asked the other day about a wiring harness or something for the headlights i picked one up from here http://www.eautoworks.com/Putco-H4--...s-PRD7540.aspx
was like 40 something shipped I never used it as I got HID lights and used the harness that came with them instead.

If anyone is interested id take $30 picked up for it.

That's were I got my gear from. Last year the harness was $80. Its amazing how much prices have jumped on some things in a year.
