I know multiple people here run stock axles with 33s. But how likely are they to break or something go wrong with them. I eventually want 33s with 4.10 gears, but stock axles? Im not sure about them.

D35 is limited to open/33s. My opinion. 8.25 and D30 can do 35s from what I hear.

You don't wheel enough or hard enough yet to worry about it. When you start wheeling rocks then you need to seriously considering regearing, and better axles.

I have a high pinion D30 and a 8.25. Im not sure if its a 29 spline or not though because i have a late model 96. So the few wheeling trips a year i take wont be a huge deal? I wouldnt want to regear and then trash the rest of the axle. Would a front locker be ok in this situation?

Cop said he, "observed" me going 80. Not on radar or laser. Just observed. I look forward to the court date.
Ugh!! Love how cops interperet the law based on their needs. **** 'em.

If you were by the school you may be right, on 109 it's 30.

Because I gave you that impression. My apologies mang, I had every intention of making it up there for a quick drop in, but I had a pretty long and tiring day coupled with the fact that I had to be up at 4:00 this morning to patrol, made it impossible. Let me know the next time you're going to be at Chris' and I'll be there.
