Why so fast for a 230 gr.? The MAX recommended load for your components according to my Lyman guide is 7.3 gr. Of Unique and nets you about 905 fps. Hornady says 6.6 of Unique gets you 900 - go figure. I would drop down to a 200 gr. Round nose with 7.1 gr. Of Blue Dot. That gets you to @1015 fps. Federal cases only at 17k+ CUP and not in my guns.

Here's what I have in my log:

4.8 gr. Bullseye under a Rainier 230 gr. Plated round nose @800 fps
5.4 gr. Bullseye under a Hornady HP XTP 200 gr. @840 fps
5.0 gr. Titegroup under a 185 gr. SWC lead. @920

All with Winch pistol primer and once fired (at least) Federal brass. These are samples that work well for me, YMMV, load at your own risk.
