I came up with an idea at work today to compromise between my convertible idea and my sunroof idea.
I was thinking I could cut out the center section of the roof as I would for a sunroof, but make the glass removable instead of hinged. I could weatherstrip the opening and put latches on the inside.
Then I realized my genius idea is the T-top setup in the Camaro lol
As for rigidity, I wouldn't cut til it's caged.

I'm gonna get the biggest piece of glass I can fit in there. I don't like feeling enclosed when I'm driving, and I take off the doors in Summer.
