Aaron, you know NO Cherokee prior to 2000 had an LP....and if it is a disco axle, it is DEFINITELY not LP....
And for those who say not to use the disco axle, I call BS.
If you plate the disco housing, swap solid shafts in, and pop in a seal, it is stronger than non-disco, and operates like a non disco.

Also, for those who hate Rusty's....he retooled his shop about 4 years ago, and has not had the same issues. I trust Rusty's parts and will be ordering from them myself.
For those that don't believe me, talk to Oliver, he stands by them as well.

The cast, true is not ideal for OTA brackets, but can still be done. You just need to preheat the cast, then wrap it in blankets to let it cool slowly.
Just saying, for $10....the real problem is, if the new one is a 5 spd, and Barney was auto, you would have to re-gear....so the point is probably moot.

Yes...but why go through all the trouble?
Aaron....we can try and find you a 3:07....but you should have at least known they would be different.
They can be had all day for $100....sell some parts....do it yourself....no reason for Dad to be mad.
