I use 12 AWG stranded wire, Hella or equivalent relays, heat shrink wire terminals and ceramic insulated connectors for H4 and std connectors for sealed beam. Power to the relays is fused with 30a mini blade fuses in inline fuse holders and ground connectors are
1/4 " stud ring terminals. Wire to passenger and driver side h/l connectors is loomed or jacketed for stock look. Everything is soldered and labeled for easy installation.
These harnesses run me ~$56 in parts. I would build them for anyone here in the MD crew for $75 (sealed beam) and $80 for H4. I can make them using 10 AWG wire for an extra $15 per harness if you want to rock the "sharks with frikkin lasers" option aka H4 90/110 bulbs.
Disclaimer: These are not equivalent to the Putco harness. I'm not hating on that product I'm just pointing out that nobody solders, uses marine grade terminals and relay sockets with this grade wiring for $40 or even $50 bucks. If Barney had this harness he'd be Godzilla...
