So everyone knows...
He was crying back in late November about losing his jeep. At that time I offered to come down to Catonsville and pay 1 months storage, no strings attached for him so he wouldn't lose his jeep. He turned it down, and PM'd me 2 weeks later that he wanted to take me up on the offer. I talked with a buddy, and after talking to Josh we all came uip on an agreement that we would store it for him for 2 months, tow it from Catonsville to Harford County for a sum of $200.
I put it in writing, and Josh signed it.
He PM's me a week or 2 ago telling me he was going to get his jeep, and if I could help him get a job. Here again, no problem. I got him set up for the interview, and all he had to do was show up. Granted, it only pays $11 hourly, but full bennys, vac after a year, ect. He doesn't show up.
You all know the rest of the story...

Now I got to send out a certified letter, take it to DMV 10 days later and go through the horses*it of getting a mechanics lien...

I feel for you guys. I make $24/hr. and have to watch what I am doing...
I'm studying my *** off right now, if I get my 3rd grade engineers licence, I have 5 years left to go for my 1st Grade. Once I get that I am good for an easy $35-40 an hour.
Be ready for retirement bout then

He's screwed on the job, they will never hire him now. Too many people looking for jobs to cater to one person.

I'll get my money back, just have to do this by the book.

im not any happier about this than you are Mike....i lose the 2nd most precious thing in my life. both for the jeep and for the job, things got messed up. im not playing a sympathy card...im aware that theres nothing i can do to fix this. i didnt want to lose Anya....but i dont have a choice. and i never knew u would have picked me up to go to the job interview....i figured asking for a ride would have been too much.

again, i dont want sympathy. and i know i cant make u do anything specific with her...but Anya deserves better than to be parted out...shes a strong vehicle that was just terribly neglected, and is nearly rebuilt after a long struggle...itd be like killing a person because they have self esteem issues from being abused as a child. Anya is my pride and joy, my baby, and i wish to God i could pay you and get her back on the road...but circumstances in my life have made that impossible. so im sorry.

Sorry for all the headache you are going through. It's tough to get burned when you are trying to help someone out. Hopefully Josh will step up and take responsibility for his actions. Let me know if you need anything. Best of luck with the job stuff too. We've missed you around here.

Get a job, sell stuff, sell the jeep and honor your responsibilities. YOU will feel good about doing that. Anya is not the only jeep out there.

Pay your debt. Sell what you can and give mike the money you owe him. Throwing your hands up and quitting isn't doing anyone any good.
