Nope.....not the brakes....I will have to throw it on jack stands and find the noise....

When I would get to cruising speed, it was whining real loud....not a screech, but like when you push a Tonka truck really fast....then, let it out of gear and coast down, and it sounded like a slowing Tonka truck.

It is in the driveline somewhere....

Talked to the guy with the van....he's delivering....since he is getting a cashiers check...lol.

I thought about it, and will check it. I made sure it was not in 4WD before I left....cause it was starting to sound and act like it was in 4WD but I took it out yesterday...

If it IS the T-case...oh well...was about to rebuild it anyway with my SYE...

Customer came in and is selling a 91 YJ, 125k 4cyl 5 speed. Just needs a new top, he said the snaps on top are all messed up 240-405-7586
$3000 obo

That's how I do it. Set it up for summer and forget it. Drive the XJ when it rains a lot.

check the pinion bearing.... just had the same thing in my sister's ZJ

sometime last week the night i drove the white XJ to the gym, i noticed it was steering funny. I have no clue how it got in 4wd. but just pushed the lever down. continued backing out of my space. was fine after.
