well, like some people say, we definitely are not a legitimate club. we are a place to hang out, and whatnot as already said. a club does not need guide lines and such. we're not like a corvette club or something that meets every month on the first friday or something. we don't vote people in. but the Maryland Cherokee Club is a nice way to identify the group as a whole. we even have stickers.

I know I'm getting 3.75" BS, but I believe 4" BS is good enough for most.

X2 or 4". Different companies have different standards for their offset wheels.

In my experience, yes. I will be running the equivalent with 33's. 5" BS with 1.25" Spacers....

Hey kuzican, I bet you didn't know you were throwing a grenade into the room when you suggested that our little club might want to do the parade thing.
I'm super new here and I don't even own a Jeep so maybe I'm out of order but what difference does it make if some people call this a club and others call it a thread with "club" in the name, a discussion board or whatever?
So far, I haven't seen any initiation rights, dues, allegiance swearing or blood brother requirements. What I have seen is that a few have decided to create a "club" and incorporate their club's identity into their avatars and signatures. I guess for those folks, a club was something they wanted to organize and good for them. For those of you who want this to be a club - I suppose it is. For those of you who say that it isn't - I'd say you're right.

Backspacing is a number that tell you where the Wheel Mounting Surface (WMS, also know as the holes for the lug nuts) is in relation to the center of the wheel. 4" BS makes the wheel sit farther out because the WMS is closer to the inside of the wheel. Lower BS causes the wheel to sit closer into the wheel well because the WMS is near the outside.
