i am a 56 years young kid, that owns 3 xj's, all daily drivers, i also own a 98 yamaha 600 grizzly,i have resigned myself to Pennsylvania"s vast atv trail system to ride the atv. Maryland, in all there wisdom, or lack there-off decided to close the only viable off-road trails they had available, what is left is approx 3-5 miles of lame fire roads, deep in the bowels of Garrett Co. hardly worth a thought. I am also the only income in my house and , like others i am solely responsible for putting two young men thru college. I, for obvious reasons couldnt stand to get arrested, financially, as others cant either, but, i cant afford to go to Rausch on a whim. i frequently call and e-mail DNR to question about any upcoming trail issues or possibilities. i brow beat them, just to let them know, i want a viable place to ride.I honestly do this on a regular basis, just to keep them from texting or space-booking while they are in an office on my dime. will i get results? not alone i wont, but that doesnt deter me an iota. do i condone illegal activities? probably not, but i'm not a squeakie clean individual either, shake anybodys tree and sumpins liable to fall out. i dont agree with all the open conversations of shenanigans on this thread, but its my choice not,or to participate, if i choose not to, i dont, i wont however, constantly interject my opinions either. unless it is of a personal matter (you know--Dad type stuff) and i agree with all the off-road policies that are out there, but, i also dont want to be a "web wheeler" or "keyboard crawler/mudder" either. we, the citizens, tax payers of this state, deserve,no, are owed, the ability for recreation, and our lame-azs goverment wont pay attention, and dont care that a jack-load of $$$ goes into Pa. coffers, when instead, they should go into our states pocket!,just my 2 scents worth, and i stink today--but i love me sum garlic!!!

DNR says it's ok. I'm going with them lol. I actually like what you posted though. I agree with keeping the trails narrow by going over the obstacles, and not turning everything into a giant bowl. The do your part should also be common sense. I hate finding evidence that other people have been in the area and trashed it, such as trash and debris and god knows what else.

Perfect weather today. Took the glass off, cruised in the car, doused my smoking brake pad, and now she isn't dragging.
