I've crabbed a lot at point look out, nothing really big there. Great spot for rock fish though.

Ive been up and down most of it by boat and kayak. I know the Magothy like the back of my hand. Severn river too. Pickerel are hot right now.

I got 2 of those longer sea kayaks with rudders. so anyone is welcome to join me. definitely won't go by myself

i gotta 18 ft tin boat. fish nanjemoy,mattawoman,etc. on the potomac, and all the shore rivers when i can, boat dont like BIG water though.

also, getting a front axle and front driveshaft from the guy Brian got his hatch from. as long as it's the high pinion though, which he says it is.

I really only kayaked solo. I pretty much covered entire western shore from inner harbour to point lookout. My longest trip was about 25 miles. I kayaked most of Assateague Island as well. Very tricky crossing that inlet. Outer banks too.

I had an all out 16ft sea kayak with rudder, skirted, carbon fiber bent shaft paddle.

Those kayaks you have there look like they are very open more like a rowing style. Respect mother nature and learn what it feels like to flip and get back in the thing before you have to.

nice, and we do have rowing machines for them. where you face backwards, and have separate oars for that use.

I really don't have too much experience with it. just little outings here and there. I plan on doing a lot more of it though. I want to go to the outer banks this summer, and I plan taking them.

Yea they are flat water boats. I would advise against any sort of open water. Stick to lakes, resevoirs and creeks.
