also, mjtchell, who is the person I currently work with who just got an XJ.
his needs some work done. I haven't done some of this stuff, but do you think we could help him out? I'm sure he'll become more active on the forum once his Jeep is all set to go.
for some reason the shop he took it to said the NSS needed replacing. yet it starts and runs. it's just the reverse lights don't come on all the time. that's a wiring thing.
well anyway, here's the list. the shop quoted 1500 for parts and labor
Safety switch (what they said)
Muffler
Front sway bushings
Steering stabilizer
Right rear axle seal
a little work on the rear brake drums
some brake line work (forget what exactly though)
new rotors which isn't that hard
what do you guys think? i told him I would post it up since you guys are more familiar with me than him, but I'm trying to get him on here more.

yeah. i told him that pretty much. I would help him myself, but I'm not completely experienced with all that stuff yet. would be nice if someone who has done some of that stuff to come out and help us. food and beverage provided of course, lol. give him a chance to meet some of the guys from the forum and gain some experience. i told him to get more active on the forum. and that he should go may 25th and all.
