I dont have a garage, so i know the feeling...
but there are a lot of good members here that, if you become friends with and bring sustenance, will let you borrow theirs and may even help you / teach you a few things...
thats what i do, i get 1 day a week to work on my rig, and i always bring plenty of food... its a good bribe..
and if i want to work on it 2 days a week, i have to be prepared to drive a few extra miles (1 1/2 hrs away) and bring good drinks...
of course you can bring food first day but dont think it happens right away, usually takes a few meetings before they trust you to not bail after your rig is fixed, so you earn your keep by showing up and learning and of course helping others out too

Need a Good Opinion
My GF is looking at some stuff on CL and was asking me about it I have read the online writeup on how to do this and I think that I can but am wondering if its really worth it as she wants it by winter in the DC area and is afraid of getting caught in the snow.

Wow, that's a bit of an extra drive lol. If my roommate pays me the rent today, consider it done. If not, I'll have to check my banks for gas money anyone else wanna tag along and maybe grab him on the way if I can't?

It's the same distance to Edgewood as it would be to pick up 89Anya and double back to Mt Airy. I haven't been out that way yet, so we'll take a roadtrip if you're up to it. How's tomorrow around noon? We can meet there or somewhere nearby.

hopefully my wifes refund check from her schools financial aid comes today, so i actually have money to buy stuff...we dont get money otherwise until friday. im glad to help though, itd be nice to learn how to take apart things i havent yet. lol
