Mornin.

Just wondering if there is a general rule of thumb for bump stops. I know the smart answer is to "flex it and measure". I just need to get some general idea so I can source some materials.

the distance between the bumpstop should be 1" less than either
a) the remaining shock compression distance, or
b) the distance from your tire to the fender (or other rubbing spot)

I I think I'm going to hook the rear end of barney to a tree on a slight down hill angle, then have Tommy's dodge pull on it slightly. And try and straighten it that way.
