a little about pa small used car shops-(uh-by the way that 1st one was interesting) they are little body/recondtioning shops, i was looking for a full size truck a few years ago, and everything i saw at these shops (and i went to a crapload 6 in one day) were all undercoated extensively to hide- well, whutever, i am a strong believer in buying from a private owner, my 2 sense wurth

Good deal....but do a carfax out of a stealership to make sure it hasn't been wrecked. And offer them a lot less "cash price"

Can i ask for the car fax there or do i have to do it myself? I thought that was super cheap for a dealer.

As a dealer...they SHOULD have an account. If not...pay for it. It is worth it for peace of mind, even if you have to walk away.
