Looks like its time for a cut and fold! Or drill through sideways and stick a rod in there and try and turn it.

Gonna be a pain in the ***....but here ya go:

Remove rear bumper
Cut an access hole at the back end of the frame rail.
Inside you will see the weld nut inside the frame rail
use the air chisel and break it free.
It will all then pass through to the inside
Go to hardware store and and get a new nut and bolt...GRADE 8
Mount the relo brackets using that nut and bolt. Make sure the nut is a lock nut, since you will not be going back in to tighten it.

Done.

THE OTHER OPTION.

If you have a welder, weld a NUT onto the bolt right were you see it. The nut will act as the head of the bolt, and the heat will help extract it.

I don't think I ever made it past Tenderfoot. My troop was horribly managed and after a horrific summer camp trip I never wanted to go back.

Well, first off our camp site was right off the water, by the end of the week we all looked like we had chicken pox from all the mosquito bites. Then there was the leaders who were "old school" and if they thought you weren't working hard enough they would give you a brick to carry around. Everyone but the favorite scouts ended up with a brick. *by favorite, I mean the son's of the leadership*

It was not a good time, the food was horrible. The facilities were horrible, even for camping standards.. I left after that trip. Later on I found out one of my fellow scouts *a leaders son* who had made it into a leadership role was convicted of bad things..

Tis a shame that the actions of others would drive people away like that. People never think of the consequences. Isnt the first time I have heard of the brick treatment. A friend of mine had similar treatment in his troop. The brick ended up going through his Scoutmaster's windshield when he didnt want to do anything about it when his dad complained.

My dad was my scoutmaster or cub scout leader(started as a tiger) for nearly my entire scouting career. My brother and i were never treated better. He was harder on us than anyone else. And every other scout and parent knew that we were not given the easy side of things. My dad is a hard *** too for those of you that know him, imagine him for an entire week of controlling your every move. Good times.

Never went to Philmont, but went to The National Jamboree in 2001, which was awesome.

x2 However that didnt stop the parents from complaining that their boys werent advancing. My dad would tell them flat out that they cant advance from just showing up to meetings... He did not want our troop to become and eagle factory. There are a few around our area that are. I remember my dad working at a Junior Leader Training and the Scout that he was working with decided to run the knot station. Dad tells him that he brought a board to put examples of the knots on and wanted him to tie all the knots *basic knots, over hand, timber hitch, clove hitch..."

Dad comes back some time later and there arent any knots tied. he asks and the kid who was an eagle didnt know how to tie a square knot...... and that day on dad made sure that his scouts were trained right and not pushed through.

Ten years later I can still tie a square knot, and many others lol

You still need to bring your camping gear home from NY so we can do our hiking trips
