anyone recommend front end parts? im going to have to replace the tie rod ends and drag link ...
iv read some reviews that rugged ridge isnt so much drive friendly but rather better off road.

excuse my terminalogy on this cause im just learning about the jeeps front end lol and this is what im hearing.....
so apparently the bar that the tie-rod ends are connected too are the first thing that hits a rock or w.e when people are offroading. so most aftermarket tie-rod and drag link assemblys are "beefed up" (thicker piping) for that purpose.
and on some of the different brands, i was reading reviews and some people were complaining about the steering/stability on and off the road.
so i didnt know if maybe i would get an after market set up rather then just a replacment set up if it would matter with highway driving vs road off.

just to clear things up for you:
looking at your lift, I would say if you need to replace it anyways, definitely a perfect time to upgrade to a stronger setup. The tie rod especially since like you said, it's vulnerable to rock damage.
Depends what you want to do. IRO has a sweet steering setup that moves the Tie rod up to the top of the steering knuckle, but maintains the stock steering (drag link) attachment on the bottom so you don't need to mess with the track bar mounts at all. The only issue is it won't work with OEM wheels unless they're spaced out

Personally I run a stock drag link, and a Tie Rod from a ZJ grand cherokee, which is bigger, solid instead of hollow, and has stronger TREs. That's an easy cheap upgrade.
as far as streetability, the shouldn't be a negative effect if everything is setup correctly. For example, the trackbar and drag link MUST be parallel to each other, or you'll get "bump steer". Also angles that are too steep with OEM joints will ruin the joint very quickly, resulting in breakage or the dreaded "death wobble".
