Non-surgical, except for knee replacement, which I am too young for....

So they are trying Euflexxa....a therapy gel injected into the knee. It was just approved by the FDA last year, kinda scary if ya ask me. Reading reviews on WebMD and they are mixed.

This kinds sucks....I need to lose weight, he told me...go get bypass surgery, you can not exercise on those things....

Challenge accepted.
Sorry to hear bud, I am thinking its less of the being fat and more of the "ever XJ you own is a standard"

My dad has had two knee ops to repair and my grandfather had 4 repairs and both replaced.

Completely off topic but any one have a crossbow or a compound bow looking for a good home? I have a friend that is getting started and is looking around.

Too nice outside today so I gave Vit Skratt a bath and a scrub.
It actually looks pretty good for a 22 year old truck...
It is ghetto-fabu with my Daktari seats and my flamed visors.
Lots of work to do still.....

Break In:
Non-synthetic 5W-30 or whatever the engine manufacturer recommends
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/4...iques-1127049/

Short Summary:
- PRIME THE PUMP BEFORE STARTING!!! (until the dash gauge reads pressure disable the ignition and fuel systems for this)
- Do not let it idle for long (20-30 seconds max) - hold the throttle between 1500-2000 RPM for 15 minutes (Vary the throttle a bit)
- Drive it around city style for 20 miles - varying RPMs between idle and 3000 RPM, accelerating and decelerating (engine braking) for this period
- Change Oil and Filter (non-synthetic)
- Drive normally for 500 miles, keeping revs below 3000 RPM
- Change Oil and Filter (non-synthetic)
- Drive normally for 2000 miles, avoid redline runs
- Change Oil and Filter (non-synthetic)
- Drive Normally for 5000 miles
- Change Oil and Filter (non-synthetic)
- Drive Normally for 5000 miles
- Change Oil and Filter to whatever you plan to run though the life of the engine
thats a picture perfect step by step. Only difference i use (and this is on a SBC not sure if the same on a 4.0) is to use a drill and either buy or make(using an old Dizzy) a drill attachment to spin the oil pump to prime without actually cranking the rotating assy, until the gauge reads pressure and oil begins flowing out of the rockers. But as usual, Dukies advice is top notch

Yes and no, I'll text you about it. Barney is ready to reopen it, and needs his right hand man. ALSO just got Barney's title signed over to me, sorta...official on my birthday.
