'87-90 MAT Sensor from an I6. It's at the back of the manifold with two wire coming off of it. The pigtail is about 5" and plugs into the wiring harness. I want to grab two or three in case some are bad. There's nowhere to buy them new.

read that last post - the sensor he posted has the correct resistance range that matches the renix spec for the range temperatures. You'd have to tap a larger hole in the manifold and splice the connector, or relocate the sensor to the intake tube or airbox

I have no means to tap a larger hole. (Ha.) I ordered one from injector.com that supposedly reads properly, but it's way too large to fit.

relocate it to the intake tube or airbox then. leave the stock one in place to plug the hole in the intake manifold

also, if you can get the sensor out intact you can try cleaning it

I pulled it and scrubbed it twice with carb and electronics cleaner, and with wire and soft bristle brushes. I'm trying to avoid relocation since it won't be an accurate reading. At that point, I might as well use the HO sensor that reads 60° off.

meh it'll be close enough - especially in the summer time it may actually help. I cannot see the air temp rising 60* in less than a foot of distance. It's a ****ty spot for the IAT to begin with...
