went to trails road today with Mike (guy who works for AEV) was fun. my Jeep is a boss now. still need to bumpstop the front. hopefully he puts some pics and videos up.

probably going to go again later too.

Gonna finish up ripping off the fender flares and trimming the fenders after work.

Yea thats what i said but im going to put rubber around the edge of the fender just in case. So the fender doesnt cut the tire

He's talking about tire coverage and trouble with cops.

I wouldnt be concerned with that. Especially with proper bump stops.

Exactly. But i dont speed or drive dumb, so i should be ok. Plus my 31x10.5 is gonna stick out way less than his 33x12.5.

I didn't have any trouble, but of course, YMMV. When it was upside down in the middle of the road, the cop said, "You seem like the kind of guy who's gonna build another one. Next time, make sure you cover the tires. That isn't legal in Maryland, but I'm not gonna write you up for this one. This is more than enough punishment."

And on that back road in the woods with no one else around, did he make it out alive? Lol.

Never really hear of anyone being pulled over specifically for that. Its usually an after thought. For example, Jon last week, our friend Derek(pulled over for no muffler), yourself.

The cop was actually really cool. He was calm, very helpful, joked a little to lighten the mood, and he told my supervisor to go sit in his Escalade and get off my back.

I've been running no flares for quite some time and never got in trouble. But I did get talked to about my rear license plate not having a light when I got pulled over for speeding once
