I need a transfer case. Anyone have a NP231 in good condition sitting around? Or know of one for sale?

I'm getting a real bad grinding in mine and it's causing a vibration in my Jeep. The chain is definately loose but I haven't torn it apart yet to diagnose it. It has an AA SYE kit that I installed about 25k miles ago.

Anyone know of a shop or guy that is familiar with transfer cases and SYE's? Most likely I'll have to buy one and then buy another SYE kit since I don't know what the problem with the transfer case is. Could be bearings or maybe even the oil pump pick up tube came off of the pump.

If anyone knows of a transfer case for sale, please PM me.

you could see something wasn't right when the nose was pointed straight up and that makes total sense

Check the relay. Thats what my issue was. Try it with the AC instead of waiting for the jeep to start over heating.

Not a bad idea.

Why does your jeep reach 220? It isnt even that hot out yet...

Not a bad idea, just remember to turn it on. Lol.

Hows that for a multi-quote Mark?

So I was about to pass what I thought was a v6 challenger, what I didn't know was it was an un badged srt8 challenger. The guy said it was his idea of a sleeper lol. You couldn't tell it was an srt8 until he stepped on it and it roared.
