So I almost finished in 7 hours today but I ran into a few problems.
#1 I broke the shift linkage plastic pieces when I tried to reassemble the linkage.
#2. When I took out 2 of the bolts I also took out the stud because the bolt was rusted so bad. The studs are special with course thread on one side and fine thread on the other. When I tried the 2 nut trick against each other to get bolt off I broke the stud.
#3. I found a bad transmission rear seal when I dropped transfer case. Area should be dry but it was wet with ATF.
#4. New transfer case was missing 2 studs so when I tried to remove studs from old transfer case I broke 2 due to rust.
#5. I broke one stud and one bolt removing crossmember. Stud has been fixed by drilling and remapping. Bolt is still broke and ill work on that in the am.
Tomorrows list is:
Fix broken bolt on crossmember.
Put on trans mount and exhaust hanger.
Reconnect shifting linkage.
Find speedo connector bolt that I lost.
Refill fluid.
Attach front and rear driveshafts.

yes.
Use solid cinder blocks as the cribbing. Not shifty at all.
