also got my rear leaf spring bolt nut broke the welds what part do I cut open so I can grab ahold of that nut

The front mount? Yes, that's what I had to do.

Cut a pocket on the bottom of the mount between the spring eye and the unibody framerail.

I wouldn't cut it as high as he did though - just cut the bottom out enough to get an open ended wrench up there to hold the nut.
