Yes. Dont ruin the seals in the box. Heat is bad. Why do you want to take the pitman arm off?

Are you taking a pitman arm off a durango box so you can swap that box in? If so, soak the hell out of the bolt in PB blaster and tap the bolt with a hammer. Then get some leverage on it. I use a big pipe wrench. Dont snap it though(it would be very hard to do).

Iv been soaking it in wd40
That's would be a big bolt to snap lol

Mount the box and use a cone pitman arm puller. For the nut make sure you are turning the right way and use a cheater bar or a impact wrench
