I am as well. No issues overheating though. I have an open system. I've got an 88 with a closed system as well though and haven't had issues so far. It's also got 205k on it and the radiator has been painted.

I'm still having issues with overheating, I can sit at idle with the defroster blowing and the electric fan on.

System is properly filled with fluid
Missing my mechanical fan shroud
Mopar 195 thermostat
Water pump has less then 200 miles on it
Need to do hood vents(just to lower umderhood temps)

Read that it does make a crazy difference, probably going to get one when I do a Zj fan clutch.

Fan shroud will make a huge difference.

I was looking at them too almost bought one. Avguy in Germantown on Craigslist had one for sell not sure if he still had it or not just did not have the bullbar.

I need to order a new fan shroud too, mines all tore the hell up. Glad they're only $17 bucks shipped off ebay.

Yup... Btw what can I replace the rear brake line with that is just longer than stock... I can't remember... Something about late 80's dodge vans?
