The only tricky part was making sure the gasket was seated properly when I put the pump in. Then you have to push real hard to make the gasket squish enough to get the lock ring started. Then just use a hammer and a brass punch to tighten the ring fully.

I recall seeing that a ZJ or WJ alternator is a drop in install. Is that true and what does it take the amperage up to over stock?
