I did my bumper without using my impact gun. You will need that spacer if you buy a winch bumper of any quality. It needs to attach back past the stock bumper mounts so it doesn't just rip off, and most will attach using the steering box bolts.

Something is up with my oil pressure or gauge or sensor it's started getting high then it pegged and now it's going to the middle all the way to high

you probably knocked the wire - wiggle/straighten the wire out at the sensor.
