hate to break it to you but that truss ain't gonna do much due to the design and it being so thin. And as an FYI to weld it you need to deal with preheating the cast carrier. If you're gonna truss an axle may as well do a better one than that

I guess it's good that I'm not looking for a truss. Thought it would be more cost effective but im already heading down a different path. Thanks for the input though.

so went to meet my gf in DC for lunch for v day...got lost for like an hour, then got a speeding ticket on the way back....i was like an hour and a half late getting back from lunch
i could kill someone!!!!! whew sorry had to vent...
