And like 94 said too. My speedo has been getting bad signals from a messed up OPS wiring so i know mine isnt accurate. Then again i love my jeep though.

i wouldn't trust that. 33s don't actually measure out to 33" tall, they're less than that. Also depends on wheel width they are mounted on.

Plus your speedo is set for 215/75R15 tires (or 225 for the sport), not 235s.

Best thing to do is the next long trip you take (mine was 500mią), reset the trip counter before the trip, then keep track of the mileage on your GPS. At the end compare the two and use the difference in the numbers to calculate the correction factor. The longer the trip the more accurate the correction will be.

Mine is 1.141 x what the trip counter says.

True, an actually when i had 235s my speedo was dead on. When i first got it with 215s the speedo said i wa going faster than what i was doing. (GPS tested). I think my PO changed the speedo gear. He did a lot of awesome stuff to it.

They're mountes on 15x8 rims

Will do GPS sometime to be more accurate. And eventually speedo gear change.

But the fact remains im still pretty happy with my mileage.

Still trying to pursue this other Xj jon told me of. Talked the the guy a few times. Decided a price, said he would talk to his wife. Went the other day and they weren't home. Left a note saying I had cash in hand and could have it gone same day. No response yet. Figure I'll go again Sunday if I don't get a reply.

92 forest green sport
4.0 aw4 242
Full skids
30/35
Bone stock
About 100k on it
Says it sat for a little and then he tried to start it, and now it only runs for 10 seconds. I figure the pump or filter is clogged.
Its a little rusty but nothing major.
Getting this depends on what happens to barney.

(yeah gas has gone up alot since 1995 but adjusting for inflation should keep that figure somewhat relevant...if one were wanting to shoot holes in my very unscientific estimate)

but then when you divide that back out over 18 years it doesn't look so bad on a per year basis. i think in a year's time mine drinks more gas than i could sell it for though. kinda depressing but so is the thought of driving a 50cc scooter around just to get 90 mpg.
