19" Collapsed, 29.5" Extended. Doetsch Tech 8000 Prerunner Shocks, rear only...5.5-6" of lift or so



Track Bar for 3-6" of lift...new TRE and Bushing. Unknown brand...use with stock bracket.

Wish I was closer, I would take the shocks since I know my rear shocks are undersized. Oh well.

Ps- then again, how many miles on them anyways. Was it easy to collapse them

Zero miles....I installed them....didn't have enough uptravel...took them off....actually, I think Fritz put 100 miles on them...and NO...they are still very resistant.

I do...i nearly had a head to head collision coming around a sharp exit ramp. The caution signs said 35...i was doing 25. I nearly spun out.

What tires were you running. Did you have foot on the gas as you were coming around te turn. I remember how crappy my Rear was when I had my bald wrangler sra. Now turns aren't an issue with the destination ATs

Simple rules of driving... you do your acceleration/deceleration before a turn... not during. Change the weight characteristics during a turn and that is recipe for disaster.

I bet that LSD only functions under power... so get your foot off the gas in those turns :P

Hahaha but it's fun. I like sending people nice rooster tails when they're tailgating me in the rain and we stop at a light.

Hence why I asked. Too many ppl brake during a turn and it throws them off. Same thing in snow, hydroplaning, etc. never brake or it can throw the jeep off

Exactly! So use your strong arm to take that lead foot off during turns lol

Also...

I thought I was the only xj with no front doors in AA county... apparently that is false... and I've had 4 people pace me and say "the cops don't mess with you?!?" So I point to my mirrors and go "no... its legal"

You learn quick with no sway bars... and its easier to comprehend.

Yeah i always slow down before the turn. And accelerate out. I've had to brake in a turn because some idiot decided to stop in the middle of the road for a squirrell. Almost rear ended that guy. Gave up on stopping before i got to him and passed him on the other side of the road.

What have I missed? Been packing and getting ready for my move to Pasedena on Saturday. Got the pool, grill and patio furniture ready for the weekend.
