DAY 9 OR 10
so i woke up earlier on what's left of our sofa with the sun hitting me in the eyes so i ran to the shower to wash the previous night's filth off me while thinking up a good lie to tell my boss about being late. and then my woman asked me where i was in a hurry to go so fast, and her being home at the same time made me realize it was 2pm on a saturday! so i went back to bed for a few hours to regroup.
and then i had to go buy groceries for asinine reasons like "it's your turn" and "because you got drunk last night and ate everything a-hole" and "god i hate you!"
so i went and bought "groceries" such as 2 cases of beer and a burrito grande from 7-11 to stuff in her screaming yapper so i could go work on my boat. and after a quick trip to the emergency room and an ice pack (she's dead accurate w/ a 7 iron) i was finally in a position to finish this damn job.
so i got out everything and made a huge mess so that it would take longer.
and then i noticed that there was a auto glass repair van down in the little dungeon where i sometimes "work on things". so call him up for a quote if anyone needs a new windshield.
and then i got that dang board back in place, minus the decorative painted sheet metal with coast guard plate on it. but the end was in sight.
so then i hung the motor, tested it for flex (solid as sears, woohoo!), picked up all my ****, took one last photo, came upstairs, got a chuckle or two out of today's earlier happenings on the form, and posted this up.
so i figure if my ball joints ever go bad on me, it should only take 5-6 months to change em out. this is why i rarely tear into my own jeep. i could probably figure alot of it out on my own, but simply don't have the time, patience, or right equipment just sitting around. i hope to one day have an actual garage on a few acres and the time to do alot of my own work but for now stupid little projects like this one will have to do.
