Ha thanks! Its nice having the best of both worlds. I used to drive a cobalt ss daily but I am trying to sell that now that I bought the Jeep.
Yeah I am going to. I bought a t case skid and one for the front diff off quadratec the other day. I plan on installing them over the extended weekend. I was reading the gas tank skid is also a popular one but I dont think we are doing anything too crazy the first time we go up. My one friend is taking is explorer that stock with some better tires so I am going to be limited with what we can do because of that.

Whats up guys new to the forum and to Jeeps. Picked up a 1992 XJ a few weeks ago that sits on 31's and a 3" lift. Its probably going to stay that way since I am daily driving it as well. Some buddies and I plan on going up to rausch creek next weekend to do some wheeling. I ordered some skid plates for it but other then routine maintenance I probably will not be putting much more into it. I also have a trans am that I race at Cecil every now and then.

That is badass! I am running a hoosier Quick Time Pro 28x11.50x15. I like the tire but I am still tweaking my suspension. It has been an ongoing battle with me learning how to properly setup a suspension on a drag car lol. My best 60' so far is a 1.61 when I should be in the 1.5x range. My problem now is my car is "unloading" too quickly. Next time I go up I am going to soften the rear shocks a click to see if that helps
Not sure why the video isnt working but if you click the link at the top of the player it will take you to it.

Video doesnt do it justice since its a cell phone vid and its on fast idle. A few of the guys on here can vouch for her. Its got a 351W bored and stroked to 408ci, 11.5-1 comp, forged aluminum rotating assembly, Eagle crank and H-beam rods, full hydraulic roller, Comp cams 590 lift 112 lobe separation, Pro-former aluminum heads 2.02 intake 1.98 exhausts, dual plane weiand intake, Holley 780 vacuum seconds, MSD ignition, 2 3/4 primaries to a 3" mains, glasspack on each run, TCI streetfighter C4 trans with full manual bodies, 10" narrowed Ford 9" running a 3.90 gear
she is fun to drive, sucks gas and hauls ***

Morning all, I swear my woman doesnt like me taking these weekend wheeling trips. Last Labor day trip was ruined because "we had problems that I was ignoring" and was first brought to my attention once I got there where there is shoddy cell reception. Now this year I made plans to see her the day before I leave. Now she doesnt want to see me till after she gets back from her trip to NC two weeks from yesterday so she "can decide if she wants to work through our problems or to cash out"
Sometimes I feel like my head is on sideways and my feet are backwards. I feel we are moving in the right direction but end up somewhere in left field.....
anyway, hood vents being installed saturday I think as well as axle bearings in my sisters ZJ....
I need a shooting date, anyone interested?

Men don't speak womanese. You hear communication is the key to a good relationship, which is true, but they don't tell you that you have to learn to speak her language and vice versa. If you want to commit to this relationship I recommend reading a book called Love and Respect by Dr. Eggerichs.

I can roll on first gear but if I romp first or second it rips loose, 3 speeds, burnout, accelerate and cruise lol
I never spin it above 5, so I run out of gear at about 100, Which is fine because its a driver not a race car. Though she doesnt do bad for her age

at the crank is makes 532 horse and 594 ft/lbs at 4500, 3200 stall through a stock driveshaft, the rear is a triangulated four link and its got a detroit truetrack, its just too much for the tires. I wanted raised white letter tires and they are so hard, damn things wont even smoke, just squeal like hell lol

One day when I am old and cranky Ill redesign the rear suspension and can the bags. Run something for traction and either get thrown out due to my E.T. and lack of safety equip or utterly destroy something. I am thinking driveshaft
