Yeah I am going to. I bought a t case skid and one for the front diff off quadratec the other day. I plan on installing them over the extended weekend. I was reading the gas tank skid is also a popular one but I dont think we are doing anything too crazy the first time we go up. My one friend is taking is explorer that stock with some better tires so I am going to be limited with what we can do because of that.

I ordered some skid plates for it but other then routine maintenance I probably will not be putting much more into it. I also have a trans am that I race at Cecil every now and then.

Not sure why the video isnt working but if you click the link at the top of the player it will take you to it.

Traction is my nemesis at the moment, have the power and torque to run mid to low 11s if the tires stuck. Its a futile battle with the bagged suspension anyhow.

Video doesnt do it justice since its a cell phone vid and its on fast idle. A few of the guys on here can vouch for her. Its got a 351W bored and stroked to 408ci, 11.5-1 comp, forged aluminum rotating assembly, Eagle crank and H-beam rods, full hydraulic roller, Comp cams 590 lift 112 lobe separation, Pro-former aluminum heads 2.02 intake 1.98 exhausts, dual plane weiand intake, Holley 780 vacuum seconds, MSD ignition, 2 3/4 primaries to a 3" mains, glasspack on each run, TCI streetfighter C4 trans with full manual bodies, 10" narrowed Ford 9" running a 3.90 gear

at the crank is makes 532 horse and 594 ft/lbs at 4500, 3200 stall through a stock driveshaft, the rear is a triangulated four link and its got a detroit truetrack, its just too much for the tires. I wanted raised white letter tires and they are so hard, damn things wont even smoke, just squeal like hell lol

I can roll on first gear but if I romp first or second it rips loose, 3 speeds, burnout, accelerate and cruise lol

I never spin it above 5, so I run out of gear at about 100, Which is fine because its a driver not a race car. Though she doesnt do bad for her age

The problem I see now, things come up that we have to work through. We sit and talk it out and things are agreed upon to try and remedy the situation. Things seem to be fine and 2 weeks later or so something new arises and I find out that "I havent been sleeping" or "its causing my nerves to be shot..." I personally think she has a hard time dealing with the stress of her own place and two jobs and has a hard time juggling it all. Since I dont live with her at the moment and I am only up at her place on saturdays I do what I can to help out but she acts as though I am there everyday and expects that amount of work each week. She has no outlet for frustrations so I think I am it. Not to mention most of her friends are on their third or fourth husband so if she tries to talk about us to anyone of them its always "**** him you are too good for him, find someone else" instead of logical advice. *sigh* but we will see. I am tired of bending over backwards and it being overlooked or unappreciated. Have brought it up numerous times but all that comes from that is her throwing the fact that she works so much more than I do with her two jobs in my face.

sorry for the rant

If its not raining when I get home ill take the truck out. That will clear my head

One day when I am old and cranky Ill redesign the rear suspension and can the bags. Run something for traction and either get thrown out due to my E.T. and lack of safety equip or utterly destroy something. I am thinking driveshaft
