I was reading the news this a.m. and it looks like there was a proposal to accept surf fisherman driving on the beach in OC.

http://www.wboc.com/story/23283555/o...state-approval

I wonder if it will get approved.

I think they already allow it in the offseason before 9 or 10 am. During fall cruise week you see a bunch of trucks coming off the beach in the morning

It would be nice to fish there, but I could see the problem for the winter tourists wanting to walk down to the water with their kids and dogs but having trucks in the way.

There was a change.org petition against it that I signed yesterday. Let's hope it doesn't pass, we have Assateague for surf fishing.

Ah the Joys of home ownership.. Spent the last 20 minutes running a snake down the secondary drain line for the house. It had clogged up and the kitchen was back feeding into the basement utility sink. Worked like a charm but the smell.. oh god the smell.

I don't care about the driving on the beach part, but I do enjoy fishing from the comfort of my Jeep so I can have all my stuff with me.

I've been thinking about it and I went ahead and signed it since we can currently fish in Deleware and Assateague. I think it would suck having trucks and fishing lines everywhere along that section all day long. The OC beach is a nice stretch of sand with alot of hotels. I'm fine with making us fisherman walk out for now at those sections.

If anyone pulls a 97+ plus front clip and fenders (preferably green) I'd trade you some barney parts. Or stock wheels and tires.
