If you need access to tools and a garage hit my cell up. I got a decent shop bout halfway between you and the shop in randalstown. Plus I am free just about every weeknight and most weekends. I practically live there. The only thing I am lacking is a lift, but I do have stick/mig/tig sheet metal break, drill press, tubing bender/notcher, vices, plasma cutter, among the other plethora of tools. Just let me know.
Is this an open invite? I need to do some rust repair/sheet metal work and could use some break and bending tools.
Also, I plan on a cage this summer....
And then the chop happens... yada yada yada....

How do you guys feel about full synth oil in the 4.0? getting ready to do my first oil change on the xj and was originally going to go with Rotella T which is what I have run in all my other cars, but was looking at the Rotella T6 full synth, I have never used any synthetics.......
252k miles and runs like a champ - the 4.0L loves a free flowing oil.

What were you saying about needing a drill press and a vice for discos dukie? Your knowledge, my tools?

Its amazing how many people talk to you when they find out you have enclosed work space with heat and fab tools 
lol I am no whiz at cage fabrication, in the middle of my first cage build as we speak *before I bought the xj* but I am an ICAR certified body technician and welder and am running alittle side business out of my garage. Would love to do it full time but don't have the flow of work at the moment....

I do all my own work....if I fail, that is how I learn. Just can't afford a bender and break and what not right now.

I was watching benders online and finally made the jump, its quirky but it works. Have to use american steel not the jap junk, it kinks it something fierce. Picked up my box and pan break *aka finger break* at an auction. Shop was closing down, got it almost brand new for 250. It will bend up to 14 gauge easily, 12 is pushing it. Its great for sheet metal projects though.

That is the only downside to my shop area, its a two car garage but half of it my grandfather uses for his woodworking projects, so whenever I want to work on something other then my F100 I have to awaken the beast and back her out. Been looking at pole barns and enclosed trailers just to keep her out of the elements while I battle rust but can still work on other things...

We are talking 18 g body metal here....
I also want to raise the gas tank...I need to finish my rear deck.
I have already done the rest of the floors and sleeved the unibody from the LCA mounts to the spring perches with 3/16" angle.
My Jeep doesn't look like much yet...but like I said...it's a sleeper...this one is getting done RIGHT.

Dukie, silent and jimmy, If you guys wanted to stop by I will be at the shop tonight and pretty much all day tomorrow from 9am on. Doing exhaust and rear brakes on a ford exploder and then super lube day on the xj. Feel free to stop by and hang out or work or come by and check the place out. Just let me know

Seriously, how much would you charge on a per hour basis for the plasma cutter? There are a few guys on the forum I promised to help build bumpers for, the plasma cutter would save me a lot of time in getting that done
