AW4 temp range..... from what I am reading 150-176F is the normal range. Is this true? Finally got the fittings to plumb my temp sensor in my cooler line and last night putting around it was holding about 180.... Not a ton of stress or air across the cooler since it was relatively low speed... Anyone else run a gauge? What temps do you see or should I expect?

where did you tap in with the sensor? 175-180 is normal around town - can get up to around 230 when working hard. On the highway it'll be around 150 with the TC lockup

I am assuming most of us follow "Maint Schedule B" so I am supposed to drain and fill the trans every other oil change...???

And yes you need Dex/Merc III Fluid - sold as "multi-vehicle ATF" these days. I just got a case from Oliver for the wife's Acura of AMSOIL fluid. I use AMSOIL in my transmission also and highly recommend it.
