Trying to pick out tires sucks. Running a 15" wheel will save you a little cash but from what I saw during my search is unless you buy a set second hand they all run relatively the same price vendor to vendor.
FWIW I do like my nitto's but I tend to see them on prissy JK's more than anything else.

As of right now I'm planning on a having a beefed 30/8.25. But I'm sure if I read into it enough, I'd feel able to do a 44/9 swap.

I mean built stock axles can handle 35s no problem. But at the same time why build them for the price of a 44/9 swap which can handle 35s stock.

you with 33s, me with 32s and aftermarket LSD, and damien had 35s with factory LSD.
for my D30 I have a mini truss that goes in between the pumpkin and UCA mount and I plan on keeping the axle shafts stock. because when I regear I'd rather have the axleshaft break and everything else be fine, then have the gears be the weak point.

A well deserved one.
First time I wheeled the YJ was Sunday. I started out gentle and cautious, but got comfortable pretty quickly. I ended up following all the lines they did without getting stuck, and I have open diffs compared to their locker/LSD setups. I couldn't be gentle the whole time if I wanted to keep up.

I have faith in open diffs, they keep me from trying things I probably shouldn't. I'll probably do a rear locker down the road, but I've got other wants before that
