Anyone driving between Hagerstown and AA County/Baltimore this week? I want the rear bumper corners on an XJ being parted out.

Who here has engine and or transmission skid plates? Not the factory front skid plate for the steering but actual 1/8 or 3/16 steel or greater plates under the engine and or transmission? If you do, post up what you have and your opinions of them.

Most people that end up getting one take it off - the mounting is really screwy and they just get in the way.
Oil pan skid if you really want one: http://www.quadratec.com/products/12022_904_07.htm

why? XJs have the oil pan / tranny pan well up out of the way and it's not very susceptible to rocks. Money would be better spent elsewhere IMO.
