Good Morning. It's going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Has anyone seen or heard from Jake? Is there someplace better than advance auto to purchase the coil thingy magic ;-) Misfire in cylinder 3 and engine light blinking on/off sometimes staying solid. Not a new issue but I did new plugs first.

Yea just saw him the other night
You think you need a coil pack? Is it idling rough? all the time or just when hot?
If it's a hot misfire condition there was a TSB issued for your year for injector heat soak on #3. Dealers have a super cheap kit you can buy to fix it.

hopefully the Jeep will be running today. Getting a used fuel pump out of some guys part out Jeep. and me and a friend will be working on it. hoping to have it fixed by this saturday so I can tow one of his cars down to Ocean City. Also, while we're there we're looking for jobs. Trying to live down there for the summer. something different for awhile.

Nice plan. I lived down at the beach for the summer in 1991. I went through 3 jobs while I lived there. We had a pretty good setup. 4 guys in a house. 1 worked at Jolly Roger Amusement Park so we always had free passes to go go-carting etc. 1 worked at a Jet Ski rental place so we had free water time after hours. 1 worked at Embers All-You-Can-Eat buffet and brought home food every night and always got us free lunch passes. I worked as a bar back at the Big Kahuna night club and made sure that we got hooked up with free cover and cheap draft beer even though we were underage. I did also have 2 other crappy jobs that I left as soon as I found a better one, 1 at an ice cream place and the other as "security" for Hoopers Crabhouse.

Front-end features are enhanced by two prototype Flame Red inserts on the traditional Jeep seven-slot grille, as well as through a prototype lower fascia trim. Cherokee Dakar is fortified for off-road action, equipped with Jeep Performance Parts rock rails, an oil pan skid plate, front suspension skid plate, two-piece fuel tank and underbody skid plates.
Cherokee Dakar's wheel openings have been modified in order to accommodate larger 33-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. The rough-and-ready look rises with a prototype Jeep Performance Parts lift kit, and additional suspension modifications help make it the most extreme Cherokee yet. Prototype wider fender flares with riveted bolts give a tougher appearance and also accommodate the wider track and larger tires. A prototype rear fascia allows for an even more aggressive departure angle and enhances the higher ride height. Cherokee Dakar's crawl ratio is 48:1, and estimated approach and departure angles are 32 and 39 degrees, respectively.

Nothing is more refreshing than replacing the battery of the fleet sprinter in the middle of the street in 15 mins in the wind.
