Looking for trouble is an understatement.

And you seem to fit in already.

70 mph is still 15 over the limit. Drive safer, wont happen as much.

I'll get out today to find out if it's the same code misfire cyl 3 or if something else is going on. I did notice that there is a lot of condensation coming from the exhaust when I start her up,but gauges are all reading okay. I just read something about exhaust condensation and now I have to find the article again. That's all folks. Happy Easter

Looked it up, the green corrosion is from the copper in the plug oxidizing. Since you have distributor less ignition, id recommend either the coil rail or putting the heat reflecting tape on the injectors. Ill pick my brain more.

Is blacking out tail lights and other things legal in this state?
Not really. Its a grey area.

Doesn't sound familiar. Lights have to be visible from a certain distance, but I don't recall how far.
Running lights have to be visible from 300 feet i believe. But that was from a baltimore county cop a couple months ago.

Not really. OC is a tourist trap. Everything there is geared to take way more money. Cause everyone wants to live there during the summer. But good luck.

Driving slower doesn't make other people pay attention.

If you wanna argue that, it also increases the amount of time you're in their blind spots. Numerous studies have shown that speed doesn't equate to danger, and the Autobahn in the safest highway system in the world.

Also with wider lanes, less turns. General rate of speed of all vehicles is higher. Its also designed completely different. Me an my roommate had a long discussion about it.

Drivers ed also teaches you not to be in the blind spots of other drivers.

I'm aware of the differences; I learned to drive on the Autobahn.

So driving quickly is bad because other drivers don't have time to see you in their mirrors, but drivers ed teaches you to avoid other drivers' blind spots? Does that mean you're supposed to continually change lanes, or are you supposed to continually change speed?

Driving over the speed limit is bad because it puts you and other people at risk.

If you are in the blind spot of another driver, both going the speed limit, slow down. You are out of there blind spot and as long as both are driving consistently, you wont be there again.

You can change your speed as much as you want. As long as it isnt over the speed limit, and not slower than 15 under the limit.

You can also change lanes as often as you want. As long as you use your turn signals.

Next?

First, going over the speed limit doesn't inherently put anyone at risk. I'd like to see any statistical evidence that speed cause injuries. Speed can make injuries worse, but negligence causes the problems. A competent driver at 70mph and an aware driver at 55mph won't ever have a problem with each other on the road.

You can recite the book all you want, but it isn't practical in real life scenarios. And no, constantly varying your speed isn't advised in traffic. Even if it doesn't bother you, it annoys other drivers and leads them to doing stupid things.

We just covered speed with the exposure time in another drivers mirrors. And it is a good point that you bring up a drivers skill. Regardless of skill, driving on marylands roads subjects you to marylands laws. Doesn't matter if you think you are a better driver than mario andretti.

By having a license you are saying you are going to follow the states rules (and counties therein) for driving on said roads.

Going 45 in a 55 is perfectly legal. 70 in a 55 is not.

Whatever, dude. I'm talking about reason, practicality, and real life. You can keep reciting the book and pretending nobody breaks the speed limit. I'm not gonna argue this all night.
